Pastor Jack's Easter Thoughts

THY WILL BE DONE
This is the week when our minds are turned to a horrible crucifixion scene and a victorious resurrection!! A perfect picture of God's amazing grace!  Satan planned death and defeat for God's Son but God planned victory and resurrection for Him!!  Satan planned defeat for the world through Jesus' death but God planned salvation through Jesus' death for any and all who believe.

What made this wonderful victory possible?  Did you ever think what would have happened to our world and to us if Jesus had not been willing to face death on the cross.  He pled with the Father in the garden, "If it is possible let this bitter cup pass from me" but in the next breath He committed Himself to death by saying "Nevertheless, not what I will but what You will, Father."   Four simple words, "Thy will be done" brought victory over spiritual death for us and brought eternal glory of the Father into our sinful world.

I ask you to spend the next four days, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday giving praise to God for His wonderful gift of salvation.  Thank him for Jesus who made your salvation possible and who made it possible that we can know the Father!  Come and join us on Friday night for the service at
8:00 at the church. Come with a grateful heart for Jesus' death.  Then come on Sunday for our joint service as we, the church body, celebrate Jesus and His resurrection!! What a glorious Savior!!

Remembering Jesus,
Pastor Jack
