THE CHRISTIAN'S 'Stream OF
LIFE'

Did you know that you have a stream of living water flowing out of you?!  If you know Jesus as your Savior, then yes, you do!  In John 7:38 Jesus said, "Whoever believes in Me as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."  Think about it!  In a spiritually lost, dying and thirsty world, you have living water to give to your family members, neighbors, people who you meet in business everyday! This wonderful refreshing steam of living water was given you by God. You are not the maker of it nor the source of it.  He is!! It is eternal and gives refreshment and joy as you allow it to be displayed in your daily walk.

Sometimes we cause the flow of the stream to be less by the debris of sin in our life, but once we recognize that sin and call out to Jesus to forgive us, the flood waters flow freely once again.  How exciting! As it goes from your life to others around you, it gives them hope and joy.  It refreshes and cleanses both you and others. Stay in touch with the Master and He keeps clean water flowing in your spiritual life.

This coming Sunday, I will be speaking about Jewish religious leaders who didn't have that stream of life in them and you will hear about a most unlikely man who did and how he shared it!

There was a Christian popular song that said that we have a river of life flowing out of us that makes the spiritually blind to see and sets spiritual captives free.  Rise up, oh well within my soul and make me whole. The source of the well comes from God, but remember you are the 'keeper' of the well in your life.  Trust daily in God's Spirit to give you the flow of living water.  Whose life will you touch today with living water?  It would be sad indeed if spiritually thirsty people passed our way and found only a drop or two of stagnant water to quench their thirst.  Prepare yourself each day to give the thirsty a whole stream of living water as you encourage, smile, and share with them on their way of life.

God, keep us flowing!
