GREAT IS YOUR FAITHFULNESS O GOD OUR FATHER
Have you ever felt that you just needed a second chance at something? Well. Lamentations 3: 21-22 says that God gives us a second chance through His compassion every morning!! Think about it!
"Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed! His compassions never fail, they are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness!!" The great Creator instituted new starts and fresh beginnings through the day and night system that He made. He knew that we would need it. He knew that we needed renewal daily. What a blessing!
During our days on earth, we face many struggles and trials. If it were not for the promise of God's grace and compassion, we would have no hope. When dark times overtake us, let us lift up our heads as did the great prophet Habakkuk who said, "Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vine, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in te pen and no cattle in the stalls,....yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength, He makes my feet like the feet of a deer. He enables me to go on the heights." (Habakkuk 3:17-19) In today's words we might say, 'Though jobs fail and finances are short. Though it is hard to make ends meet......yet will I rejoice in the God of my salvation. I will be strengthened by my great God who can make my feet to walk above the dark clouds and to run with Him above the troubles because He has promised that He is the God of our strength and He will provide a second chance."
Trust Him for the second chance in your situation. When trials and problems close in, look above them to God. He promised to provide and renew us and His compassions are new for us every morning. Great is His faithfulness.
