Jesus' Life-Line for the New Year

Peter's first miracle was the healing of the lame Man in Acts 3. Today is Chinese

New Year and so we can start this (Chinese) New Year by letting Jesus be the center

of our daily lives and become our life-line for living. Peter said to the lame man, "I don't have silver or gold to give you, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, take up your bed and walk." (Acts 3:6).  Peter spoke in the Name of Jesus. Jesus became the lame man's life-line for healing.

This New Year could be very exciting:

If we, let Jesus be our lifeline for living.

If we, pray in our hearts in the Name of Jesus. (John 14:13-14).

If we, have faith to witness to others telling them about salvation in His Name. (Acts 3:15-16).

If we, praise and worship by always giving thanks in His name. (Eph.5:20)

Are you trusting your life-line, Jesus, as you walk day by day?

Don't forget "One day every knee shall bow and very tongue will confess that

Jesus is Lord.' see (Phil.2:9-11).

Don't be afraid to use the power of the Name of Jesus in your prayers and in your

daily life. The Bible has more than 100 names for Jesus. A very good book to read and

meditate on the names of Jesus is 100 Portraits of Jesus by Gariepy.
