This week begins a time of preparation for the celebration of the gift of God to each of us. The season is called Advent and is celebrated among Christians around the world. God loved you, me and the world so much that He gave us His greatest Gift, Jesus Christ the Lord.
THE INDESCRIBABLE GIFT: JESUS THE SAVIOR
Christmas Advent is a time to reflect on the various aspects of the birth of Jesus. Christmas is all about the Indescribable gift of Jesus the Savior.
Paul the Apostle described Jesus our Savior as the Indescribable Gift. (2 Cor.9:15). This gift was announced by the angel of the Lord. "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you,He is Christ the Lord." see (Luke 2:10-11).What a wonderful gift to celebrate, our salvation has been given to us by Jesus the Savior. Meditate this Christmas on God’s Indescribable gift to us.
As you prepare to give gifts this Christmas to your family and friends, spend some time reflecting each day on the world’s greatest Gift given to us by God the Father, His very own Son Jesus. Prepare your heart each day to celebrate His coming with joy.
